The American College of Surgeons (ACS) hosted the eighth annual Leadership and Advocacy Summit, March 30–April 2 at the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel. The Summit is a dual meeting offering comprehensive and specialized sessions that provides ACS members, leaders, and advocates with topics focused on effective surgeon leadership, as well as interactive advocacy training with coordinated visits to congressional offices.

The 2019 TQIP Annual Scientific Meeting and Training will be held November 16–18, 2019, at the Hilton Anatole, Dallas, TX. The meeting will include dedicated sessions for new TQIP centers, new staff at existing centers, and currently enrolled centers looking to learn more about how to leverage TQIP for their facility. More information about the meeting will be available at a later date.
