CDR. Dobbertien Elected to the FMA Board of Governors Surgical Specialty Seat

We are pleased to announce that CDR. Mark Dobbertien, DO, FACS was elected to the Florida Medical Association Board of Governors Surgical Specialty Seat.

We look forward to the leadership that CDR. Dobbertien will provide as he works to carry out his vision of providing an inclusive surgical community voice on issues that affect surgical patients and the broad team of physicians who care for them.

CDR. Dobbertien is a minimally invasive surgeon at Naval Hospital Jacksonville and the Director of Bariatric Surgery. CDR. Dobbertien is a Governor to the American College of Surgeons, the current Chair of the Florida Chapter Advocacy Committee, a member of the Board of Directors of the Duval County Medical Society, and a Past President of the St. Johns County Medical Society.
