These are absolutely uncertain times. COVID-19 has impacted us all. Along with our families, and our practice, COVID-19 is taking its toll on every part of society, and this includes the surgical community reflected by your Florida Chapter. Despite being a leading chapter of the American College of Surgeons, the Florida Chapter has experienced significant financial losses resulting from the cancellation of the in-person 2020 Florida Chapter annual meeting as well as the impact COVID-19 has had on member and industry based revenue to the society.

As a result, for the survival of this chapter, we are asking members to renew and strongly encourage new members and donations from those who have been so instrumental toward our success. The Florida Chapter is a leading surgical organization within the American College of Surgeons. Within Florida we have been active in protecting our patients and profession at the State Capital, providing continuing education of the highest quality, and facilitating surgical community among our practicing surgeons and surgical trainees.

We are asking for your help to continue to sustain the chapter to preserve our surgical community, including education and effective strategic advocacy in Florida.

Donate Now

United, we can overcome this trying time. With your incredibly valuable support, the Florida Chapter will continue to deliver to the standard to which we have become accustomed to ultimately benefit the patients.

If you would like to make a member donation by check, donations can be mailed to the Florida Chapter Executive Office at 6816 Southpoint Parkway, Suite 1000, Jacksonville, FL 32216.

Sincerely, and on behalf of the Florida Chapter Council,
