Florida Surgical Care Initiative (FSCI)
A Promising Partnership
The Florida Surgical Care Initiative (FSCI) is a partnership between the Florida Hospital Association and the American College of Surgeons. It is intended to propel our state into a leadership role in defining the highest quality and most efficient surgical care in the country.
Currently 102 Florida hospitals have joined this coalition. For each hospital member there will be a corresponding ACS Chapter member who can serve as a liaison for his/her hospital colleagues and can be part of the Chapter Fellows FSCI users group that will assure that the full thrust of the program does indeed produce the quality and outcomes to which we are all committed. The users group will not just be limited to fellows from participating hospitals, so if you are interested in being part of this exciting project, please let us know.
